Stored heightmaps

Stored Heightmap is a hidden compatibility node for graphs that reference a sampled heightfield saved beneath ServerStorage.AtlasStudioHeightmaps. It cannot be added from the current palette.

The node's serialized graph data stores only sourceName. Its width, height, kind, and binary samples are rehydrated from the matching child folder when the project loads. Atlas resamples that data to the current evaluation resolution.

If the matching storage entry is absent, evaluation reports Stored Heightmap is missing saved data. Copying only AtlasStudioProjects is therefore insufficient for a legacy project that contains this node: also transfer the referenced children of AtlasStudioHeightmaps.

For new graphs, prefer current generator and landform nodes. Treat stored data as a portable dependency that must be backed up with the project.
